Zhanjiang and Vale to Build Iron Ore Logistic Center

Zhanjiang, a port city in South China's Guangdong province, will build iron ore logistic center together with Vale in order to push steel and petrochemical projects in Zhanjiang. Currently two parties have signed strategic cooperation memo, according to Economic & Trade department of Zhanjiang.
Zhanjiang Port is a most important iron ore import channel in China and the start of the shortest voyage to Southeast Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Oceania and South America. Apart from a natural deep water harbor, it is endorsed by geographic proximity to China's grand southwest market and ASEAN economies.
Two parties are leant have reached agreement on cooperation objectives, approach and team members etc.
